Faceting

The clubrooms are open Tuesday and Thursday nights. Faceting tuition for club members is dependent on the availability of the Faceting Instructor. New members are given two pieces of cubic zirconium (CZ) and will receive training in two different facets cuts. All instructors offer their time and expertise as volunteers and provide this service to club members.

The trend in the last few years is that more females are learning these skills. With the jewellery trade mostly focussing on women’s jewellery, they can have even more expression and complete involvement in the manufacturing process of their own unique creations.
